Spring is the time of year for new beginnings, and this April, I’m proud to launch my new company, CommsBank & Associates.
I believe every company has a story to tell – my skill is knowing which questions to ask to find out what that story is, then sharing it with the right audience.
Educating potential customers about the value a company adds, keeping the market up-to-date and making sure that colleagues have the right version of the story is vital.
I know that if a company’s communications strategy is left unchecked it will miss PR and marketing opportunities. It can also lead to a disengaged workforce, and in some cases, losing the competitive edge when competitors have more to say. Developing a strong communication strategy is important – even more so when times are tough. I believe that business owners know this, but it’s not always a top priority as they have their eye on the day-to-day running of the business.
I get it … but that’s where I come in.
Having worked for multinational oil and gas companies, and more recently a boutique PR agency, I know that there is the need to offer a level of support that sits in-between an in-house communications resource and a PR agency retainer.
